I notice that a lot of tall people like the ones you showed seem to have eyes that just stand out more than those of other people. I would say this can make people appear somewhat drunk and perhaps more attractive looking. Also you might be subconsciously focusing on the fact that the ones you have shown look thin in the face in light of their height, which can also have the same effect.

Possible rotator cuff operation needed or just physical therapy?

Back in December, I noticed severe pain in my upper arm/ shoulder region. An ultra sound revealed 4 lipo deposits ranging in size from 10 to 26 centimeters. I had them removed and they turned out benign. However, the pain still persists. The general practitioner who originally sent me to the ultra sound and later referred the operation, said that after looking at the ultra sound, I must have tendonitis and should see a physical therapist. I am wondering if it is a problem with rotator cuff 4 muscles in shoulder causing the problem. What are the chances I might need another operation? I lifted weights, am age 61 and wonder if the weight lifting caused the problem..thanks for your help.

The reason why I ask is the advisers from the school are used to talking to students and giving them advice on financial assistance and they have a lot of resources to offer to students. There are so many other students who attend FIDM but can't afford to attend college but they make it happen through scholarships, grants and loans and if they can do then I'm sure you can do it too. Okay so Im having some trouble with the group of people I hang out with. I was starting online college to get my Bachelor's but online classes weren't clicking for me so I ended up switching to a local college and started studying Medical Assisting. Dr changed my due date due to..please help?

i am being monitored for high blood pressure for a month now and at my last appt i had my second nst which was beautiful but my blood pressure is still high so finally after a month they put me on a low dose of bp meds. Why haven't I started my period?

Hi everyone...I am 13 years old and I am scared because I haven't started my period yet. My mom and grandmother both started at 12 and my dad's family started at 12 too. Many states states consider the death of a unborn fetus as a result of a crime a homicide. In most instances the fetus only has to be between inception to 7 weeks in development. What difference does it make if the fetus is killed in a criminal situation or by a surgeon? The fetus at inception to 7 weeks is dead either way. Why does there appear to be a double standard concerning the governments interpretation of "life" and to the extent that life of the fetus should be protected?

How to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.?

I am a high school junior and am doing some research on careers. I live in Florida, and the college that I am really interested in is the University of Florida (GO GATORS.!). I have narrowed down my choices, and my number one choice is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. I understand they need an MSN. But how does that work? Do they go to just about any college (university or community college) they want, and get just a regular bachelors degree and an RN license, then take a break and work at a hospital for 2 years, THEN go to a university that offers a Masters degree program for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. If that's all correct, does the Master's Degree program have to be at the same college that you got your Bachelor's? Or can it be a totally different school? For example, can I get my bachelor's degree in nursing at Polk State College, work at Lakeland Regional Medical Center as an RN, then go to the University of Florida to do the Master Degree for Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program? Or do I have to spend all of that time at the University of Florida?

Can a woman carry her pregnancy in her back as to not really even show being pregnant?

i had a urgent car walk in doctors exam but she wasnt an ob/gyn and i think she was just a nurse practitioner but anyways i went in cause the last few days i have felt early fetal movements like i did with my other babies when i was pregnant early on the last pregnancy i had was our twins and i felt them just like my other 2 pregnancies at around 12 weeks but i am wondering if because i carried twins 40 weeks and they both weighed 7 pounds each and had more placental water in each of their bags that my uterus is really stretched out and thats why it wasnt obvious to the NP that examed me, even after she did the exam i told her i had a rear tilted uterus and babies have been known to grow into the back more and i also lost my bottom spinal disk last october so i wonder if thats also keeping uterus from being felt by her, altho i am showing when i stand up now and i can feel a tight uterus often and baby is very active and i also have some gas here and there but its very different and the difference between the gas and fetal moving is night and day! has anyone reading this had similar pregnancy or know anyone that has or any ideas please thx..btw i didnt want another child our youngest are already in middle school and we ride motorcycles alot and a baby now isnt what we wanted and so my point is i know some women get phantom pregnancies but that doesnt apply to me cause i had light bleeding last month and i thought it was my period and i was so relieved and happy i thought i wasnt pregnant but then few days ago i started feeling that undeniable thumping in my uterus, i gasped and my heart sunk with fear of being prego again, but i told my hubby whats goin on and he said if we r prego then we will make it work but this is a really bad time with all the crap going on in our life and our plate is overflowing! plz comment but be kind thx ya'll!1 chassi k

It's hard to say what exactly it is. Everything is so close together. Some people don't need their wisdom teeth out because their mouths are big enough. You may have an abscess in that tooth. It would be at the root of the tooth. I would try going to a general dentist. Not oral surgery. All dentist are specialists from the neck up. It could be an infection that could go from the tooth to the ear. Look up the antibiotic and see if it treats both. Not all do. I wish I had an answer being in pain when no one knows what's wrong would be very frustrating! Even more without health insurance. I would ask more about the roots of the teeth maybe that might help? Maybe go to a different dr and get a second opinion if finically you can. Both ear and tooth infections are painful! I hope they can help soon.

What anime should I watch? Loved FMA and Blood+?

I loved FMA (Original) and Blood+ and absolutely loved them; great animation, seriously in-depth storyline and character development. I prefer serious and slightly dark and tragic anime, so these two are at the top of my list. There's no simple matter to the storylines such as "find this and you can defeat the enemy" or "collect this and you are the most powerful ___ in the world!" There weren't any lame facial expressions or much stupidity. Voice acting was great and it ended leaving you attached to the characters so much that you didn't want the series to end. I'm having quite some trouble finding something next on my list. I would prefer a full series, not a movie, or short run mini-series.

I need to know more about Retina/Optic Nerve Coloboma.?

My daughter is three months old and yesterday was diagnosed with having Optic Nerve Coloboma. On her chart they have three things circuled- ambrlypia, coloboma-retina(no listing for optic nerve coloboma), and ptosis. She only has this in her left eye. When I looked at her eye today and tried to compare to images I have seen of Coloboma, I see nothing outside of a squity eye and her eye turns in especially when she is bored/tired. Granted, I'm not a professional and I can not see behind her eye. But her actual eyes look the same to me. Both have circular shaped black centers and a clear defined blue color around. Does the "key hole", "Cat eye", "morning glory" take time to develop? Is it possible that she was misdiagnosed if the doctor could not get a good look in her eyes. (it was really hard to allow the doctor to look at her eye.) I had two lazy eyes that were crossed as a baby and that is why I noticed so early. Her one eye was sleepy looking and turned to the center and my mother noticed right away. It has even gotten better since when the pediatrician asked us to see the specialist a few weeks ago. She is opening it more. Looking around more-maybe not alot or really at you, but better. We are starting the patch, she hates it and my husband says that a good sign. She has only done it twice and I try to keep her awake to get her to look at me and toys. No real progress but it has been two days. She does not look to have Coloboma. Can someone better educate me on it and maybe send me in the right direction of when to expect things to change if they ever will? Every case I have read about these two days has OBVIOUSE signs and my daughter just doesn't. No other abnormalities. No lag in her normal development. There are no signs to me!

If not, then I'd say you could get a job in IT like a IT Technician or Website Designer...something along those lines maybe? You can search on the internet for ideas like I did, when I was in your situation (for example, in your search engine you could put "jobs in drama" or "jobs in IT" - you get good results to be honest). If you're still struggling, go and speak to a career adviser if your school has one.

Is my baby growing too fast?

my son was born at 8 pounds 14 ounces, he only lost 3 ounces by the time he was discharged form the hospital. He is almost four months old and now weighs 19 pounds, he eats 6 oz of formula every 3 hours. Is this unhealthy or abnormal? is there anything that I should be concerned about? my pediatrition didnt tell me anything other than for a baby his size there is no problem feeding him that much as long as he keeps it all down... he is also very advanced development wise, he can sit up practically unsupported, roll over from his back to tummy and from tummy to back, he has amazing head control, he can reach for and grab at toys as well as grab his pacifier and he has the coordination to place objects in his mouth and pass from one hand to the other. he also is constantly "talking" and laughing, and playing games with us. And he also already has his two front bottom teeth in already. Someone told me that babies are not supposed to be that well developed for being that young, which makes me really worried. Someone else told me that those are all signs of autism... Should I be worried, or are these people just really un-educated (I'm a first time mother, so I have noooo clue what to believe and what not to!)

Can I withhold condo association fees for work not completed. I live in a newly developed condo development. There are various types of units. I live in a free-standing unit which I purchased. The development company is the property management since the development has not sold out. When I moved in 3 yrs ago my sidewalks were all cracked up. I was told that they would be repaired the upcoming Spring. To date the repairs have not happened. In addition, I constantly have standing water and heavy moss growing in front of my house along the sidewalk. Even in 90 degree weather, there is water or moistness and moss growing in front of my house. It is also a hazard. My Mom is elderly and almost fell a few time due to the slippery moss. The association has one excuse after another as to why they haven't repaired it. The latest excuse is they want to wait until they have multiple sidewalks to repair. I live on a corner lot and there is a large amount of sidewalk. Just my repairs alone is enough to call out a cement truck. I want to stop paying my association dues until they get this work done. So, recently this mixed girl from Germany moved to my school, Maria. All the guys are so into her. I have practiced Shotokan with SKI for 16 yrs and as far as i am aware the low stance is essential for the interpretation of the movement, as the knee is also performing a block. I answer this question because at the time of the video we were JKA, before the split. Just another point to make.... since this is the first serious martial arts question i have come across for some time on this forum, ain't it funny how no one else has answered yet. My father suffering from Pneumonia has patches still persisting in the upper lobe of his left lungs ?

My father is 76 yrs old and has been admitted in hospital. He was detected with pneumonia. X ray and Scan of Thorax (CRCT) was done which still shows some patch. Antibiotic dose are over, but the doctor is still not sure about the patch. He is terribly weak and is unable to sit up. He is still in hospital. He has cough but it is not coming out. Doc's suggest FNAC and other test to rule out TB or Cersonogenic development. He had fever about 100 degrees Celsius yesterday. What can be the possible result ? Please advise.

Well 0 is wrong with you. You just could be a late bloomer or maybe you did not get the gene the rest of family did. I have always had small boobs and I always wanted implants but when I could get them I changed my mind. I think it is more attractive as you age do not have the sagging and back problems. What do I do about my friends?

Okay so Im having some trouble with the group of people I hang out with. I was starting online college to get my Bachelor's but online classes weren't clicking for me so I ended up switching to a local college and started studying Medical Assisting. This college program is an accelerated program so I have a lot of work to do. Around this time I started working at Walmart as well so I have had very little free time since I started school/work and I like to spend that time with my girlfriend. I am loving the medical field so much that I want to continue my education to be a Nurse Practitioner or even a Doctor. Since starting school/work, I have been wanting to settle down and become financially set and get myself set up for a great and successful future. I have been making goals for myself and I feel like Ive become more mature. My girlfriend and I both encourage each other to do well in school (shes studying to be a Physician Assistant starting next year) and we have both become a lot closer to each other this year and we both have similar goals and want to be successful. My group of friends have a problem with me being so busy and not having time to hang out with them and goof around. I am content with not hanging out with them because i am more determined on getting ahead and focusing on my relationship with my girlfriend (because I want to marry this girl in the future) than goofing around. Yeast Infection During Pregnancy?

I am 11 weeks pregnant with my second baby and had my first prenatal exam with my Nurse Practitioner a few weeks back. She did a pap, since I was due for one anyway. My results came back fine, no stds, or hpv, anything like that, but was told I have a "minor" yeast infection. I have absolutely no sypmtoms to a yeast infection at all. No discharge, itching, burning, smell, nothing like that at all. I have also never had a yeast infection before. Could she be wrong? I mean I know its kind of odd to question the nurse practitioner, but wouldnt there be some sort of symptom? Also, I have hyperthyroidism due to pregnancy. Not "hypo", hyper. Which means my TSH is low, and my thyroid produces too much hormones. Could a "minor" yeast infection be from that? I didnt have any of these things with my first child, but that was almost 10 years ago. So everything is a little new to me, since its been so long. Okay so Im having some trouble with the group of people I hang out with. I was starting online college to get my Bachelor's but online classes weren't clicking for me so I ended up switching to a local college and started studying Medical Assisting. This college program is an accelerated program so I have a lot of work to do. Around this time I started working at Walmart as well so I have had very little free time since I started school/work and I like to spend that time with my girlfriend. A PhD is 8-12 years depending on many factors, only one of which is the field. None of those fields are worth getting a PhD in. In fact, most of them wouldn't even warrant a masters degree. The only reason to get a PhD in any of them would be if you wanted to teach at the college or university level - those jobs start out paying about 40k in those fields and it's hard to get them. A PhD will leave you vastly overqualified for all other jobs.

The was I see it, specialists (like neurologists) are for cases that are difficult to manage or diagnose. It doesn't necessarily take a specialist to be up to date on current guidelines and start off with the grade I-A recommendations. I have just began to wonder why I am so driven towards the dark side of high and ritual magick. Initially, I thought this is just where I would begin, and move from there as a starting point. Poll: Who thinks Red Faces should be its own show?

To be honest, I think that Hey Hey Its Saturday is the most boring bull **** on tv that I've ever seen. The jokes are old and lame and its safe to say that its already had its time. However Red Faces is its most redeeming segment that never gets old (the only part of the show I watch) and shows great potential, thus I think that it would be better off as its OWN half an hour show that maybe airs once every two weeks. The reason being that if the show were to be aired weekly, it means that stupidly boring acts are just randomly chucked on without any thought (like right now). The prizes for the winning contestants should be also increased in order to encourage more interesting people to participate on the show and to show off their fantastic talents. What causes knee pain when bending my knee?

i was getting my 9 month old out of the car when i got sudden sharp pain in my knee...the pain didnt occur with walking, mostly just with getting up and down from sitting and going up and down stairs. i also had pain when scooting my chair forward or backward while sitting in it. basically, i have pain when bending my knee and putting weight on it...the pain subsided by the time i went to see my doctor (general practitioner). about a week after the initial pain, i began a long drive (17 hr trip) and the pain started to return...i also started to have swelling and pain in general just with movement..i would wake up with pain every time i moved during the night...by the 2nd day of the trip, i could not bend my knee enough to put my sock on...now, 5 days later, the pain is subsiding again...anyone know what could be the problem?

Should I become a R.D. or go into an alternative medicine profession?

I am in my early twenties, doing restaurant work as a baker. I am unfulfilled because I have a bachelor's degree in science and have had an interest in nutrition since high school. I LOVE cooking and baking and went to culinary school for this, but I want to help people in another way, still involving food. I believe in the saying, "Let food by thy medicine, thy medicine shall be thy food." The problem is I see dietitians sometimes as food gurus giving clients a list of dos and don'ts, and honestly I don't agree with this. I see the client as a whole, who may come to a dietician for a weight, or food-related problem, but who would actually benefit more from a homeopathic, exercise, eastern medicine, or alternative medicine advice. From research I have been doing, it seems hard to be a credible practitioner in these fields, without a valid medical degree in Western science. But, I cannot se myself as a Western doctor, at the same time I cannot see myself just as a R.D., without extensive medical knowledge of the human body. I guess I am torn between Eastern and Western medicine, but ultimately, I want to be a preventative focused doctor, rather than a reactionary doctor if that makes sense. I know that I am a good listener, and can deal with many types of people, and I have a great interest in science, but I am truly a chef and musician at heart. I didn't mean to throw that curveball in there, but maybe now you can understand me a bit better. I don't like much working for a boss, as I see myself as an entrepreneur and leader. How would I ever get through a traditional medical school like this? I question all figures of authority and find that other students rarely have the level of enthusiasm I have for the subject we are learning. Perhaps, I am best suited NOT to go back to school, and be the chef and musician I am, but I believe in 10 years, I will want to push my science knowledge and help others in another way. Please give any advice for this lost 20-something year old, if possible. Gracias.

Schools for a Trauma physician?

Im going to be a junior and im just trying to get some ideas on jobs. I know for a fact that I want a job in the medical field, particularly trauma, and I am trying to decide on a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner or just go all the way to a Physician in the Trauma Center. The definitions seems to be subjective. Some Neo pagans, wiccans and others call themselves witches and do not have a negative connotation about it. Others make a distinction : a witch is a spell caster who uses the power to do harm, or one that only uses the left hand black path, I really don't know a whole lot about it myself, but it is rather subjective and means different things to different people.
