Did you find the book "Witch School" by Debbie Tompkins a good learning guide?

I have heard other Wiccan say to stay away from llewellyn but i find similarities between it and cunningham's book for the solitary practitioner. Witch School described things nicely from the first chapter. Cunningham as my first book, let me know to follow the way I feel best suited. I havn't read all of the witch school book yet but is it really that bad? Even if it may be focused on a certain 'way' don't others think it's a fine place to study a bit? I mean it gave me such a wonderful thought about how water has been here from the beginning and that same water makes up most of our body. I find it nice so far. I havn't seen where it says this is the only way or there is no other way or other ways in Wicca are wrong. i want to know others thoughts on this.
