One month old won't nap during the day?

But sleeps wonderfully at night. My one month old will show signs of tiredness (yawning, fussiness) during the day but will cat nap or only sleep if nursing. I really do not want to start a habit of depending on the breast to sleep even though my family practitioner said to give her the boob when she wants it.The moment she falls asleep during the day, I try to place her in her bassinet where she sleeps during the night (same environment such as the sound machine, etc) but she will wake up the moment I lay her down or within 30 min. I cannot get anything done during the day. What's funny is that she sometimes wakes up smiling. Sometimes she wakes up wanting to nurse again! Not sure if they grow out of this or not?
