$90,000 loan debt to be a Nurse?

No, you will take on an outrageous amount of debt and take on more for NP/CRNA school. Also, why get a BS in one field then fast track to the BSRN? Also circuitous and ridiculous. No hospital cares where your RN is from, only that you pass the NCLEX and you will need to work for a few years before advanced practice. AND by 2015, the NP will be a doctorate of nursing practice-which is expected to add to the cost, not a masters. You will be better off to go get a BSRN at a state school and save all that money (think about it-that could be a hose down payment or saved so you do not have to work in NP school). Every financial counselor I have ever heard address undergrad education debt load highly advises against it, if a cheaper and acceptable alternative exists. Which for nursing, it does.
